RESEARCH ON WINDOW TREATMENTS THAT MAKE PRIVACY AND VIEW COMPATIBLE

In this study, we investigated a fenestration system that divides the roller blinds into multiple layers, closes partially to ensure privacy, and opens other areas achieve both view, daylighting solar heat gain. experiment in controlled space, subjects evaluated “visibility from inside”, “estimated visibility outside” “openness”, addition that, also “view”, “brightness” “total satisfaction” actual environment. As result, confirmed visual satisfaction improved by system.
